Plants and Cakes and Ales
So yesterday I spent the day with mom while Reg had her mouth messed with.
We finally got around to getting the rest of the plants out of the garage (we put them in there so they wouldn't freeze). After we finished that we looked at the plants and noticed that we had no idea what half of them were. So we took clippings from those plants and went down to Colour Country (we stopped for lunch on the way. While we were at lunch I looked through and read about different kinds of plants and mom and I planned out some landscaping for our garden thingy).
I had a notebook with me and I wandered around the nursery taking notes on the plants I wanted to learn more about. Next time I'm with mom I'm gonna do some research on the plants that I liked at Colour Country.
...
I also read a book called "Brush up Your Shakespeare" where the author went through all the phrases coined by William Shakespeare in any of his plays.
I particularly liked "Blinking Idiot" just cause, out of context, blinking sounds like a replacement for a different word.
I don't think the phrase "cakes and ales" came from Will though. The ceremony of Cakes and Ales is an old Wiccan tradition after ritual. Maybe the phrase was just made known by Shakespeare. I like a lot of the background stories. I'll read through it again tonight.
