Democracy sucks when only one guy is in charge

My day of Silence did absolutely nothing. Rachel's and Anna's and Shanna's silence probably had about the same effect. No one cares what six or seven high-schoolers believe in. The only way to be heard anymore is to cause a disturbance, nonviolence is ignored when you don't have money or political power.
Until I'm rich or famous or become friends with someone rich or famous, no one cares what I have to say.
That's not true, this is a democracy.
Yah, the overwhelming majority that voted for smaller class sizes is REALLY getting what they want right now.

I wonder if Cheney's daughter was silent. That may have had a slight impact, if indeed, he even cared about his own offspring outside of the campaign trail. You have to be an Oskar Shindler to make a difference, no one hears the masses. No one listens.
