Inherit the Wind

I like it that Brady is portrayed as a person about halfway through the play.
How he seems like a heartless bigot in the beginning, but later on you see that he's really trying to do what he feels is right. He is fighting for God, in his opinion. He's only trying to make them understand and make the world a better place.
Only in a Disney movie will you find pure good and pure evil. Black vs. White, good guys win, bad guys see the error in their ways and the hero gets the girl in the end.
I hate those movies because they're so one-sided. It all goes back to the motivation. People want to defeat evil. They want to be heroes but they also just want the world to be better. Its when you get people with conflicting ideas of what's right that you have a case like the one in Inherit the Wind. Or WWII and the holocaust. Everyone assumes Hitler's in hell right now. But he must have thought he was right in what he was doing. George Bush thinks he's fighting for God and the future of our country. Every "evil" in the world (aside from a sociopath or two) thinks he's doing the right thing.
I'm really glad that point was put across in Inherit the Wind.
